Anna Scherbakova was born in March 2004. At the age of three and a half, she entered the training camp of Russian figure skating famous Yateri Tuthberize to learn skating. She has a stubborn personality since she was young. Although living in the center of the city, but never infatuated with the bustling city style, headlong into the training camp, even the local specialty food did not taste.

At the beginning of her training, Scherbakova worked under the protection of her coach, using a safety net and wearing padded pants. Despite her caution, she fell over and over again because she had not mastered her skating skills, leaving her covered in bruises. However, Scherbakova always gritted her teeth and kept training for a longer time than others, and she was good at studying and innovation, which impressed her sisters. Gradually, she emerged in the Russian speed skating competition.

Having grown up on the training rink, Scherbakova made the rink her home and loved the exciting sounds and sensations of skating and jumping. In 2017, after learning from her teacher, Scherbakova completed beautiful skating and difficult movements. She changed from ordinary ice training to combination jumping, from single to continuous jumping. She spent more than a month on the boom, but finally, because of her young age, she could only participate in the Russian junior national team competition. Unfortunately, she broke her leg and missed the ISU junior Grand Prix that season just as she was sprinting for the triple axel.

As she lay in her hospital bed, the pain was unyielding, but the fear that she might say goodbye to her beloved speed skating for good made her burst into tears. When she was in a slightly better mood, despite the repeated warnings of doctors and family members, she endured the sharp pain of rubbing the hard plaster on her skin. She grabbed the head of the bed with both hands and moved her body secretly, hoping that her limbs would recover as soon as possible. When she accidentally touched the wound, the pain made her sweat like a pig. When she received the news that the doctor could go to the ground, if she was granted amnesty, she practiced hard, and took part in some competitions one after another, and achieved good results.

The US Grand Prix in October 2019 was the first time for Scherbakova to compete in the senior group, which she took very seriously. In order to do well in the big competition, Scherbakova completed her basic training while attempting the quill jump, a step that many Olympic gold medalists would not dare to take.

Scherbakova went quietly to the rink on a night when everyone else was off. Practice over and over again, silently studying technical movements and methods and techniques for improving speed. Fell up and continued to practice, sweat and tears mixed together, she regardless. After months of hard training, I finally mastered the essentials of hook quad jump, and my speed skating speed was also improved.

On October 20, 2019, as the "Six Mystery Songs" sounded, Scherbakova, like an eagle flying high, performed the difficult movements of hook around three weeks in the opening ceremony, and created the first quad jump in the Grand Prix. This is the first time in the history of women's singles to complete two four hook in one program, a difficulty that many men cannot accomplish. Second hook falls more exquisite and ice all around, then pace layout design is simple, but the side splits swan posture has repeated, interior point outside the ice after three weeks to meet with ring after three weeks to fit the difficulty of the posture, axel two weeks when the variations of music, action from gentle soothing to big open closed, won the full warm applause.

After the swallow spin, she changed her dress from blue to fiery red, which strengthened the theme of "Firebird" in the second half of the dance, and attracted the amazement of the audience. Finally, she won her first gold medal in the division race.

For a girl of only 15 years old, she has achieved such an extraordinary result that the media have turned their cameras on Scherbakova. "I'm not a fairy," Scherbakova said with a shy smile to the flood of accolades and praise. "If I have to say something, it is that there is no first-class talent in the world, only first-class effort.
