Everyday I await your call. To check up on me & see how I am doing. The only one that gets me up when I don’t feel like getting out in the world. My reconnection help build to something deep & close & all we do is talk. Nowadays it seems like more of those I love are disappearing & I’m left with me & my thoughts.

Everyday I wake up sad & alone. Slipping away of strength to maintain happiness & positivity. The power I once had to seize the day is wailing like dark clouds surrounding the ocean ready to swallow what’s left. I suppose that’s how life is. You grow yourself along with others & we spread our wings to fly.

The strength of control is a strong one. Building your own strength and having the courage to push forward and get through the day. Yearning for something that might just be what it ends up to be isn’t something worth bringing up. We experience the beauty in life and grow strong from it. Exposing ourselves to the new we go in it with hesitation and caution in hopes something good comes from it. We learn to live vicariously through others so we can add to our knowledge of the world.

Constantly growing and seeing the world through different lenses. We forget to empathize with others sometimes when we are consumed by our own thoughts. Leaving room for disconnections & misunderstandings. Upon the journey of self, we learn the varieties of control.

Self control is prevalent in the word today. The discipline it takes to control what we are able to not for the sake of others but for ourselves. Having the power to understand one another & learning to use what is in our arsenal to spread peace & balance is what can help us in the long run.

“Avatar the Last Airbender” discusses the journey of a boy who locked himself away from humanity because he was destined for greatness and the fear consumed him to isolation. Only to be released in order to create balance in the world & spread peace. The avatar masters the art of the four elements in order to help bring balance to the world.

To have mastered all four elements is to have understanding of where each one originated from. The practices that each element derived from. As the avatar it’s learned that having so much power isn’t what gives you the power to change the world but the control & discipline to know when & how to use the abilities that you’re given.

There’s a scene where the avatar is learning an element & while naive as he was at the time, he causes harm to another thus understanding the art of control. Though we are not learning control by unintentionally hurting others, we are shown the art of control & how important it is to practice self discipline. Perfection is something that is strived for but never reached. Control has no perfection because it’s the limit in which we manipulate our own abilities.

Control can be easy to come by but it also can be difficult to manage. Control over yourself as well others is determined by your own abilities & mental capabilities. Control over others is something that is used more often than not. Intensions plays a roll in the level of control we have & use. During the workplace responsibilities are given to determine the amount of control we are allowed to express.

Having control of our own limits serves as our own compass of how much to share with others. Giving control unto others provides trust & reliance. By learning & mastering the art of self control we open ourselves to being present in the beauty of the world. Knowing our worth & strength of our limits we can enjoy the beauty of the world.
