The foundation was never built on being successful together. From the beginning the plan was to separate us, uproot our families and force us to bond with chaos herself. The plan worked perfectly. Look at us… fighting among our selves like rabid dogs. Everyone only wants best for them. Their sons and daughters, their check, their relationship. Life is a journey, but the paths we take have long been manipulated by our own species, turned into something heinous and foul. We’ve never seen eye to eye with each other; starting war after war killing our sons and daughters for the sake of land, money, and overall power of the world. As humans this is our common denominator and has been for millennium. Why is that? Is it because history repeats itself so were destined to continuously duplicate our timeline? Are we just evil beings with nothing better to do than procreate and eliminate? Great questions, but none of the answers matter. Why they ask? Isn’t that how we would begin to solve problems? No, the way to solve problems is not to answer large on topic questions about a broad subject. Solving problems is to force change and for something to change something, or someone must take action.

The only difference between the old and the new, is the new have been blinded into thinking they have no power. The young will eat the old if allowed. Now imagine a world where the old realize this concept young and start planning for their old age. They kill anyone in their way formulate a solid conglomerate with their peers, and eventually spread their will throughout neighboring nations. The ones who rise may be crazy but that is why they will take action before others will. There’s a couple for each race/ethnicity, and they all had a following that trailed them to the grave. A small few are able to see the spectacular figure for what he is… a way out of the bird cage. Unfortunately there aren’t enough birds to fight back against the tyranny. Some even like the cage as its a relief for them; knowing where their food comes from, what time it will arrive, and that they will always be provided with exactly enough. Those birds are the reason we can never succeed. Those are the birds that get let out of the cage and talk about “freedom” as they fly around the house. Able to perch on the couch and drink water out of the sink and feel the air conditioning on their wings. They tell all their friends about how if they just submit to their handlers that everything will be alright, that freedom can be achieved in a certain capacity. The small group of birds is now alienated by the same group of birds that they wanted to save, or at least show them all the possibilities the world had to offer. The birds that are stuck in the cage are stronger mentally and physically as well and will be forced to breed. Child care has a way of breaking the spirit. They give up their dreams to raise their young hoping that in the future if they pass on enough knowledge their children will inherit their will to fight. Of course, that doesn’t happen. The next generation has only heard stories of the sea, and have never felt the sun rays on their wings. What they have seen are their parents struggling in this bird cage while watching others around them float around the house “Free”.

Now old enough to make their own choices the new generation of birds are easily tamed. They never try to break out again, but instead of being let out like previous birds they’re supplemented with more food. The birds that have been out have children of their own, but they have a certain level of entitlement, as their house birds. These house birds are telling their offspring about how dumb and feeble the caged birds are, and to never associate themselves with one. These caged birds are now telling their children to do the same or they will suffer like their grandparents did. Eventually they stop getting extra food for behaving; because generations down the line they forgot why they were fighting. Their minds not able to wander outside the cage. The inside birds enjoy the house, and the small freedoms they get inside it never traveling outside. For the fear of the cage is overwhelming compared to the yearning of true freedom. Both birds are the same; if all of them banded together they could all feel the embrace that the world has to offer, but it’ll never happen.

Now look at us, just like the birds.
