My Last Day
My diploma above will have close ups of staff signatures further down. Before Program: Today is my last day at partial for my eating disorder. I need to feel ready for not having it five days a week but I don't FEEL ready. Logically, I think I am. I know I have made a lot of progress but those negative thoughts keep telling me that I haven't changed as much as I think. Except.... I saw my chart. Completions are way better. Behaviors have decreased, at least my initial behaviors (binging and purging). There has been some symptoms swapping the last week and a half (restricting instead of binging and purging). I know I'm stopping the restrictions way faster than I did before program. Before it, I was restricting for nearly a day after a binge/purge episode. That was on average two to three times a week.

Possibilities
Find a Comfortable Place Find somewhere comfortable where your body can feel supported. Whether it be sitting in a chair, lying on a bed, or just lying on the floor somewhere, you won't be disturbed. It's important that you don't drive, cook, or use any machinery while practicing these possibilities.

Interview with a Psychedelic Mushroom Entrepreneur
Author/Interviewer Preface: Charles Bogenberger is a 39-year-old entrepreneur with a BS degree in mechanical engineering, an MBA, and a former colleague. I met him a few years back when we worked for the same large company where he led one of their testing laboratories in Battle Creek, Michigan. At that lab Charles oversaw a staff of 20 plus employees, doing primarily microbiological analysis for pathogens and other microorganisms of concern in foods and the environment. Recently I reconnected with Charles and learned he had moved home to Denver and was now growing psychedelic mushrooms to support the nascent legalized psychedelic medicine movement there. I was intrigued, curious to learn how and why this successful engineer/businessman had chosen to grow what is/was an illegal substance and how he hoped to make money (legally) by doing so. I found his story compelling and fascinating and together we hit upon the idea of an interview to share this unusual story with a wider audience. That interview took place in February of 2024 and was first published in March and then again in November. Since that time, I have continued to occasionally check in on Charles’ progress with semi regular phone discussions. As we approached the 1-year mark of that first interview a follow up seemed in order.

Roach Invasions are a Source of Stress
Some Buddhists have told me some stories about Buddha, saying that in his life he had experienced both wealth and poverty. I can relate very much to that life journey. In my life, I have resided at brand, new, top-of-the-line, luxury-style homes, and also called "home" some of the most disgusting, low-life places that some people would never want to imagine, let alone dwell in. I'm not sure if that's a blessing or a curse. I chalked it up to some kind of survival lesson or spiritual lesson regarding the human journey and my personal growth in perspective and resilience.
