humanity
Mental health is a fundamental right; the future of humanity depends on it.
Plan E: Love, Laws, and the Art of Not Falling Apart.
It’s been a funny old year – a funny old life, really. Not funny ha-ha, except if you count the jokes on me, I suppose. No, more funny—tumultuous, weird. Strange, by and large. Though there were laughs along the way. Each and every byway and all that. And a shit ton of tears, of course. What to say? When I feel, I feel it hard. I’ve spent most of my life in a state of sucker punched.

"LOST IN UNDERSTANDING IN TIME". Top Story - March 2025. Content Warning.
I created this video song story to talk a little about mental health and what happens when one divorces a narcissist. I thought I would create this out of memory of a friend I knew who was hurt deeply by her ex-husband. This situation occurs in many relationships. The older lady friend of mine reflects about her over 30 years ago. She is sad, but therapy and time she begins to heal from her pain that she hid from people for many years.

Grieving is More Than Losing People in Your Life . Top Story - March 2025.

We wake up and check our phones before even getting out of bed. We scroll mindlessly through feeds during lunch breaks. We seek validation through likes, comments, and shares.

Why We Read Books
Here is some context as to why I am writing about reading. It is based on something I saw on social media: Whilst perusing social media, I saw a post on Twitter (X) which discussed the point of reading. Whether ironically or unironically, the user had asked what the importance of reading books was and how it was probably a waste of time since AI could summarise the key points of a particular book after having machine-learnt about the reader themselves. This therefore meant it could give key insights into the book that would help that reader in particular to gain the knowledge that would be worthy to them from the book. Honestly, I have never seen something that has missed the point of reading so much in my entire life. I continued to make a snide comment about the user's lack of proficiency for reading, meaning it should not concern them. But let's take a look at why people read in the first place to attempt to tackle this issue.

Chrysalis of the Mind: Breaking, Unfolding, Becoming. AI-Generated.
Breaking, evolving, and discovering the limitless self. There was a time when I believed that the mind was a rigid structure, built upon the foundation of childhood experiences and shaped by the ceaseless pressures of life. I was wrong. The mind is not a fortress; it is a chrysalis. And when the time comes, it must break apart to make way for something new.
