Reach Out

Disclosure: I've personally never wanted to commit or had any moment where I felt someone couldn't help, yes I've felt alone but not enough to end my life.

Hello World,

Today I had a random moment, I found myself thinking about people who commit suicide.

I was trying to visualise what kind of thoughts would be running through their mind, so vivid to be fixated on the idea of putting a halt on this life that was created by love. Thoughts that would enable someone to commit murder to themselves, when so much has been invested by parents, schools hospitals to create the person you are. Would you murder someone? That's what it is, self murder.

Think about it.

People tend to get focused on feeling that no one else is with them, no one else is going through the same thing. That constant repeat of "you don't know what its like" & the one I really dislike "you have no idea what I'm going through." Try me.

All those lives, talent, beauty and souls wasted just because certain individuals isolate themselves from others. We live in a society where people don't talk anymore, the social media and news forces people to be more 'smart' and do things online.

This in turn creates a shy society of people who choose to channel information through this brainwashing source. The consequences of this is factually fatal, why was this not accounted for? Why would you leave that out? More deaths, more pain, all as people are afraid to speak to one another.

These beautiful, amazing humans could actually share their feelings with others, to save someone, which will give them a sense of purpose along with saving themselves.

From those who don't feel isolated, be polite, share a smile, ask a random person how their day is. Imagine your genuine smile, which takes no effort at all, is just as powerful as a bulletproof vest. This smile, this nod, this very minute small interaction may be the difference between someone feeling alone and invisible, to feeling noticed.

You're walking through a city centre, and a unfortunate homeless person asks you for money. Whether you're being selfish and don't want to give any money, or genuinely have no change. Speak to them, simply telling them you're sorry that you have no change could be the words to keep them motivated. Keep them asking. Keep them surviving.

We can all learn from the strength and courage of a homeless human. No home to come back to, no heating when its cold, no fan when its hot, no toilet when needed. No shower to sing in whilst being freshly clean for a new day. No media entertainment like Netflix when you're bored.

Not even knowing whats going on in the world as you have no access to the news. No access to find out what the weather is going to be like to make preparation for the heavy winter/snowy day ahead. All because that rich guy called Steve or Ali just walks past in his Hugo Boss suit and briefcase too busy on his phone, talking to Julia or Fatima to find out whats for dinner because their hungry, and didn't stop to give some change.

Stop putting on a brave face, stop putting on a front that hides your true feelings, share them with the world, let the world know how its made you feel and watch the beauty of nature's best gift unite together to heal you. We are powerful, we are humans.

Let's save each other.

Reach out.

Speak to me, you're not alone.
