Pandemic is basically an epidemic which spreads globally from one region to another. It is not just a situation but an outbreak which affects the lives of many people in a very large amount. Pandemic takes place when various type of viruses and flues occur and spread from person to person easily. This pandemic primarily originated from the occurence of mild fever or cough which further turned into a virus, namely, CORONA VIRUS. The World Health Organisation declared this virus as pandemic on 11 March 2020. After turning into the pandemic, people's health got affected in a very short span of time. Everyone was living a normal life before the sudden attack of this virus. It is an unacceptable and unbearable challenge faced by the people. The rapid growth of COVID-19 hits the large amount of geogeraphical boundaries all over the world.

The Corona outbreak not only destroys the lives of people but also affect their mental health. Many individuals suffer from depressive disorders and anxiety due to this pandemic. The impact of pandemic indicates the mental illness from students to youngsters, youngsters to adults and adults to older people. Everyone was get hit by this. The negative effect of the pandemic changes the livelihood of people. Large number of population is heavily affected as Corona outbreak effects the daily routines and activities of many individuals. Apart from it, the pandemic adversely affect the mental health of students, employees, workers and etc. Mental health issues such as depression, worry, anxiety, fear and distress are commonly seen in many individuals.

PANDEMIC AFFECTING MENTAL HEALTH OF STUDENTS

The corona oubreak affects the mental health of students and young generation. As Government imposed lockdown in the country to get rid of covid-19 situation , all schools and colleges were closed. Students were not allowed to go to school and attend classes. All institutions and schools organised online class schedule in order to get interact with the students from their home. Online classes make students more carefree about their studies. Nowadays, all assessments and even examinations are taking place through online system. Students are now least interested in putting effort in their studies. They are over confident as they know that they can clear the exams without working hard and learning about the particular subject. So, they are not contributing their time in studies. Children are just busy in playing online games as they have lot of time and feel free from going to school. Around 7-8 hours in a day, students are spending time on their cell phones watching netflix, amazon prime, youtube and many more. They are distracting their mind from studies. The students are mentally going far from building up their career as they are not focusing on their studies. Moreover, the difference between 'A' grade and 'D' grade becomes useless as there is no comparison between excellent students and average level-students. This grading really affects the mental health of good students. The children who really used to do work hard can easily clear their exams and promoted to next level but on contrary, the students who used to score between only 30%-35% now also easily promoted to next session. The ongoing online system and lockdown puts a full stop on comparison of good students and average level-students. Hence, this could be very harmful for the mental health of those students who really used to do a lot of hard work. They take more stress and tension after seeing all other average students at their level of competition.

PANDEMIC AFFECTING MENTAL HEALTH OF EMPLOYEES AS WELL

Employees and workers are also having several mental illness due to the pandemic. Many individuals lost their jobs and other sources of income. The lost of the job gives them mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, stress, tension, worry and etc. This is the most challenging time of their life when they feel totally helpless and exhausted. They are worrying about earning their livelihood. Covid-19 causes fear, worry and tension for jobless people. It is such a big challenge for those who are facing and dealing with the unemployment. Some people committ suicide as they are not able to bear such pain. They feel so frustrated as they are not able to find a perfect job for themselves. This boredom and stress forces them to committ suicide. The loneliness and depression of jobless people can't be describe in words. Only they know about what they are going through. They are on the path where they think that nobody is standing on their behalf. That's why, to reduce their depression and stress, people are committing suicide on a large scale. Also, their family and loved ones are suffering from tension, worry, and depression as they lost the earning member of the family. Hence, not only one member is mentally affected by the pandemic but the whole family is targeted by the corona outbreak.

PANDEMIC AFFECTING MENTAL HEALTH OF ISOLATED PEOPLE AS WELL AS THEIR FAMILY

The people who had been quarantine during lockdown also suffer from mental health issues as they are worry about their family. During lockdown, people were not allowed to convergence from one place to another. It is restricted direction imposed by the Government to STAY HOME STAY SAFE. People should stay at the places that they are actually used to live at that particular time. All buses, trains and flights were cancelled. There was no transportation at all. So, this situation was also unbearable for the people who had been isolated or quarantine during lockdown. The unacceptable challenge of being quarantine causes stress and worry in many individuals. Families and individuals both were broke down due to pandemic as they were no longer to see each other. Isolationmakes them even more depressed and sad.

At the end, it is concluded that pandemic plays a highly negative role in lives of many individuals which causes mental health issues and depressive disorders. The impact of the pandemic not only affects the physical health of people but also affect their mental health. It disturbed and depressed the people globally in a very negative way.
