Just to preface that this was something originally I planned to post for a college paper but feel the need to go forth an put this information out to see what was some of the thought, mostly due to the fact that during this pandemic most of our health issues have revolved around keeping intact mental health more than usually.

Distinguishing Between Anxiety Disorders

During the pandemic we can all imagine the impact it has had on the world and society as a whole for some months now, people have developed a whole host of issues related to the pandemic besides the anxiety it has cause around everyone’s loved one weather they’re young or old. Considering the current events going on being able distinguish whether this is a psychological disorder that can be medically diagnosed or would this issue would be consider a reaction as a result of the pandemic. “psychological disorders, sometimes called mental disorders, are common around the globe, in all countries and all societies (Patel et al., 2016). Psychological disorders account for the greatest amount of disability in developed countries, surpassing even cancer and heart disease (centers for disease control and prevention 2011).” – (pp. 546 Psychological Disorders)

It would make sense that our society is dealing with mental issues especially given the state of the year the pandemic has changed the way people have viewed one another taking social distancing and other measures to ensure the spread doesn’t continue to claim millions of thousands of victims daily, given the state of thing many have anxiety around the facts surrounding the numbers being projecting in the news and questioning the validity of the numbers surround the case of those who have been claimed by it and passed, those in contact but are A symptomatic, the affect on businesses and the economy. We can see how these issues are all inter connected because the way of living most of us have been used to leading up to the pandemic would have not prepared most of us to deal with these situations. “Nearly 1 in 2 Americans will develop some form of psychological disorder (ADHD), an anxiety disorder, or a substance abuse disorder (Kessel & Wang, 2008).” (pp. 546)

It’s quite interesting that society has developed over the years and as a result of the external world we end up seeing the ailments expressed through various different individuals as a result in order to cope with the world. We must consider these issues in all facets and begin to question our lifestyles to see more ways to improve our well being whether that may be through diet, yoga, exercise and other things we can introduce into our lives to navigate the stress we have to deal with. However, being able to properly diagnose these symptoms would be to ask your client a series of questions to find out how they feel when they experience these issues to see first if there are actually symptoms which are properly diagnosed and where did these ailments stem from? This goes for other Psychological issues such as PTSD (Post traumatic stress disorder) and panic disorder. Through a series of particular questioning we can properly diagnose these issues in aims to better mental health disorders.

We have to continue to understand that this is a result of humanity developing societal issues that don't properly resonate with a perspective that fits the narrative of the collective and our ideas to live out a "Normal" life, when you consider the world before the pandemic most of us went about our lives going out partying, drinking, clubbing, not that it's anything wrong but we have neglected many of the insights provided and have drowned our inner voice to listen to those of a particular status quo. Socializing without properly dealing with what social habits are leading us? and why should you listen to these request? When we think about what's best for Humanity, do we ever stop to think as humans can you truly live a righteous life? I enjoy Psychology but from the holistic stand point that we conscious souls, living in a vessel that operates this body. What you choose to put out into the world initially comes from your inner thoughts, feeling and desires whether that be through conscious or unconscious thinking everyday. I leave you with this, during the pandemic you can see how civil unrest, large companies and corporations creating vaccines, people loosing loved ones to ailments we don't quite understand. But why haven't we questioned things with this veracity sooner? Ignorance you think? maybe, but I'd like for us to challenge the things we discover to see what truly affects the world and how can we continue to grow.

I'd like to thank everyone one who took the time out to read this post and I hope post like these help improve the perspective on reality and shed light to those area previously dark choose what you want to see in the world but taking the time to realize we have every opportunity to educate learn research tops if we feel the aren't correct within.
