Barbro and Anne

Dr. Ian Stevenson at the University of Virginia was a pioneer of reincarnation research. He spent 40 years traveling the globe while researching young children who spontaneously recall previous life. His research explores some patterns of reincarnation. The patterns reveal that people can look exactly like they did in their previous incarnations and share the same personalities and talents.

Case Study 1:

The story is about Barbro Karlen and Anne Frank. Barbro is considered the reincarnation of Anne. Dr. Walter Semkiw, the president of Reincarnation Research, shares the story.

Nine years after Anne Frank's passing, Barbro was born. When Barbro was a young child, she announced her name was Anne Frank. She suddenly had flashbacks of her previous existence as Anne Frank. Her parents had no idea who Anne Frank was and believed she was fabricating everything. She doesn't have the same facial traits as Anne Frank but has childhood memories.

Barbro was taken to Amsterdam by her parents when she was 10. Her father also planned to visit the Anne Frank Museum. When her father was looking for a cab, Brobro said there was no need for a cab as the museum was very close. Her parents were surprised as they ever had visited the museum. However, Barbro somehow found her way right to the Anne Frank House, where she turned to her mother and said, "Mommy, look at the pictures of the movie stars." Her mother then turned to face the wall and saw nothing there.

The tour guide then said it was true that the wall had been covered with images of movie stars that Anne Frank had clipped out of magazines. That was the first time her parents realized her alleged past-life experiences weren't just a figment of her imagination. And like Anne Frank, Barbro developed into a prodigy of youthful writing and authored her first book at the age of 12.

Case Study 2:

In India, there was a famous case of reincarnation. It is about Shanti Devi, born in Delhi in 1926. When she was four years old, she started talking. But her talking shocked her parents. She informed her mother that she had lived in Mathura, 140 kilometres away and her actual name was Lugdi Devi. The name of her husband was Kedarnath. Even though she had never been there, Shanti Devi could describe the place in detail. She can even recall how she passed away while giving birth to her son seven years ago. While her mother initially discounted her daughter's detailed descriptions as fiction for two years, she ultimately concluded that she could no longer ignore them.

Consequently, one of Shanti's uncles visited Mathura to investigate the facts and found that whatever Shanti Devi said was true.

The year before Shanti Devi was born, a textile maker named Kedarnath lost his wife, Lugdi Devi, during childbirth. Shanti Devi was his wife's reincarnation. When Kedarnath arrived in Delhi, many people were curious to know if Shanty had been talking nonsense because there was some truth. However, after face to face conversation between Kedarnath and Shanti Devi, it was confirmed that whatever Shanti Devi said was correct.

The incidents of Shanti Devi attracted Mahatma Gandhi and he established a commission to investigate her allegations after the Shanty narrative became a national sensation in 1935. The commission took Shanti Devi to Mathura to verify the details.

In Mathura, Shanti Devi recognized her son and other past life relatives and shared some facts which surprised everybody. Finally, the commission concluded that Shanti Devi was the reincarnation of Lugdi Devi.

Shanti Devi never married and was living a quiet spiritual life in Delhi. She passed away in 1987 at the age of 61.

In summary, there are many things to discover about life and the afterlife. Research is required about reincarnation. The proof of reincarnation needs to be concretized.
