Covid-19 Pandemic

When Covid-19 struck the world with earth-shattering effects, the only way of getting through such a destructive virus, was to declare a Pandemic and enforce lockdown status within every country across the globe.

At the unearthly time of just 05:00hrs UK time on the 12 January, the first BBC TV report ran the article concerning the death of a man in central China from a peculiar new disease. Officials insisted it was all under control and would be nothing like the 2003 Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) outbreak which killed 770 people (Rich Preston, BBC News, Oct 12, 2020.)

Well, that soon was to change.

By May 5th, 2020, Coronavirus statistics reported 4,425,940 confirmed Covid-19 cases - with a staggering death rate of 127,570 people. Information supplied from the Centre for Disease Control (CDC.) Everyone reading this article will be well aware of the facts & figures around this deadly virus, but what on earth had started the ridiculous:

'Conspiracy Theory' outburst?

-- Blaming 5G

This one is so very easy to debunk here & now. Viruses cannot spread through the electromagnetic spectrum - it is a simple biological impossibility for this to occur. Even the World Health Organization (WHO) needed to confirm this was NOT possible for a virus cannot travel on mobile networks.

-- The Scapegoat Theory

Bill Gates became a new target of disinformation after he gently criticized the defunding of the World Health Organization (as supplied by The New York Times.)

-- Virus Escaped from a Chinese Laboratory

This was to be honest a plausible theory. After all, it started within the Chinese city of Wuhan itself. Although a researcher at the Wuhan laboratory (Shi Zhengli) found that genetic sequencing showed that the new SARS-CoV-2 (known more commonly as Covid-19) 'did not match any of the viruses sampled and studied in the Wuhan Institute of Virology.'

-- It was a biological weapon

COVID not only escaped from a lab but was intentionally created by Chinese scientists as a biowarfare weapon (Zhao Lijian) who tweeted that, 'it’s possible that the US military brought the virus to Wuhan.' However, by looking at his own Twitter page, he dares to say, 'this is the time for solidarity, not stigma.' But he was quite happy to firmly place blame on the United States (USA); which was stigmatizing them indeed! His page also states, 'this is the time for facts not fear;' and '... for science not rumours.'

Seems to me that he was doing everything to negate these words on his Twitter page?

-- Death rates are inflated

Another angle on COVID is that death rates are being inflated and therefore there is no reason to observe lockdown regulations or other social distancing measures. In promoting this myth is Dr. Annie Bukacek, whose speech warning that COVID death certificates are being manipulated has been viewed more than a quarter of a million times on social media sites -an image of Bukacek appears in a white lab coat and with a stethoscope around her neck, making her look like an authoritative medical source. Go further into this as Rolling Stone magazine did, it then turns out to be that this person is actually a far-right anti-vaccination & anti-abortion activist. Her insistence that death rates are inflated really does not hold any basis in fact. More likely the current death toll is a serious under-count. In clarifying the issue, the CDC has published information about excess deaths associated with COVID-19.

-- The virus does not exist (SERIOUSLY?)

Professional conspiracy theorists like David Icke and (InfoWars) Alex Jones, COVID-19 does not actually exist 'but is a plot by the globalist elite to take away our freedoms.' Early weaker versions of this theory were prevalent on the political right in the notion that the novel coronavirus would be “no worse than flu” and later versions are now influencing anti-lockdown protests across several states in the US & the UK. These in themselves causing an awful amount of fears amongst people across the globe, needing to self-isolate due to being clinically vulnerable, causing high levels of frustration & and anxiety-related illnesses within them.

The Macmillian Dictionary describes the term Covidiot as 'an insulting term for someone who ignores health advice about COVID-19.' It uses the word 'insulting' but this is not really an accurate one. Covidiots themselves show No respect toward the NHS services and everyone involved in keeping every one of us safe during the pandemic.

The picture below shows just what happened to our economy. With Lockdown in place, shops, businesses, pubs, entertainment venues ALL SHUT their doors.

It was evident that the economy was going to suffer, not just here in the United Kingdom, but also in reaching far and wide across the planet we have called our home. The world economy has indeed suffered badly due to the effects of Covid-19 and its appropriate use of Lockdown orders. Loss of employment and the need for business shutdowns have been amongst the casualties of the destructive powers that Covid-19 brought to us all. But the economy will never recover if humanity was to be wiped out by this virus, BUT IT CAN BE REBUILT; with the support & help of everyone who survives.

As a matter of personal fact in all this, I had Cancer way back in 1973 and was a lucky survivor of it. I came out with physical disabilities & weakness, which was exacerbated by having contracted Covid-19 in the first quarter of 2020, whilst I was working in a mental health locked-ward hospital. I attempted to return to work on three-phased return plans, but with exacerbated problems, and shortness of breath, I finally left work at the close of March this year (2021) on the grounds of ill-health.

BUT the important and valued lesson I have gained from all of this is... I have survived through Cancer and the devasting effects of Covid-19. I now love spending my time writing articles with Vocal and with writing a book.

We are now slowly coming out of the Covid lockdowns, and life is very slowly beginning to return to normal, thanks to mask-wearing, and the rapid outlay of Covid-19 vaccination programs. Despite the ridiculous anti-Covid protestors trying to refuse to accept or believe in the virus - they were unknowingly spreading the rapid growth of the virus themselves.

To end this article, I would like to dedicate this to everyone that has played a major role in getting us all through Covid-19 safely (in particularly everyone who has been responsible for debunking the idea of Government conspiracies.)

Within Great Britain alone, thank you to the NHS.

And in my heartfelt commiserations to all families & friends, who have died from this awful virus pandemic and those left behind with their memories- my thoughts & prayers go out to you all.....
