Carlos Casemiro is fitting into the team.

Manchester United won 3-0 against Nottingham Forest in the 17th round of the 2020/23 English Premier League (EPL) at Old Trafford in Greater Manchester, northwest England, on Sunday. Manchester United have won two in a row and Nottingham have failed to win two in a row.

Casemiro is considered one of the best defensive midfielders in the world at the moment. Contributed to Real Madrid's third consecutive Champions League title, showing the best quality.

This summer he moved to Manchester United and began a new challenge. The defensive midfield position has been used badly in Manchester United. However, coach Tenhauch gave him a period of adjustment and he has been in charge since then.

Casemiro responded to coach Tenhauch's expectations and showed his outstanding form since taking over as first team player. He was excellent this time in Nottingham, setting up after a fantastic volley. As he became more integrated into the team, the joy of United fans grew. Return to Sohu for more

Casemiro joined United from Real Madrid for 60 million pounds in August. In the 14 games he has started, United have lost only twice, against Real Sociedad in the Europa League group stage and Aston Villa in the Premier League.

The winning mentality that United need is one that Casemiro has developed after winning the Champions League five times. That was evident against Nottingham Forest on Tuesday when he sprinted to left-back, tackled Avonyi and set up United's second goal.

Casemiro's father left the family when he was only three years old, and his mother, who was ill, raised him. When Casemiro was a child, he saw a vendor selling yogurt from a cart and wanted to drink it, but his mother couldn't afford it either, so she told him to go home.

In a suburban street in Brazil, a mother is looking for her son. "Son, come home."

A yoghurt vendor from a cart always appeared when he said this, the only thing the boy would "willfully" ask his mother for.

The yogurt was priced at 20 cents, but the family had no money to buy it today, or tomorrow, or the day after that.

Casemiro hails from SAN Jose DOS Campos in southern Brazil, a city of one million residents 80 kilometers northeast of Sao Paulo and a 40-minute drive. He was the eldest son, and when Casemiro was three years old, his father left the family and never returned. Casemiro, who was only three at the time, missed his father's absence, and it was hard for his young mother to be both. Even so, the mother with sick hands worked hard to support the family. They lived with their mother's family, and Casemiro's grandparents and his mother's sister gave them great support and help.

From an early age Casemiro was sensible, quiet and shy. The family used to reward him with a soccer ball, because Casemiro loved playing and always said he wished he could sleep with it. But after getting the soccer ball, he broke Windows in the house, drains, and would kick everything in the garage until his mother's sister said, "I'm not putting any more Windows in!" . By the time he got to school, though he didn't really like school, Casemiro was happiest playing football. Whenever there was a football game at school, he was always the first to sign up. Casemiro, his mother recalled, would go to school in the morning with all sorts of "ailments" and come to practice in the afternoon completely "cured."

The story begins when Casemiro's six-year-old cousin takes her to a soccer school where she is a goalkeeper for the girls' team because of a shortage of people to train. The tuition fee was less than 40 RMB, but the family could not afford it. Casemiro, who was happy to practice every day in the first week, was absent from the second week because he could not pay his tuition fees. But his coach at the time told him to come back: "Don't worry about tuition fees, you just have to play well." No boots, no shirt, everything provided by the first coach, he was Casemiro's first "man of honour" in football life.

He was the youngest on the team, and the coach called him "Cutie." Practice started at 5 p.m. Casemiro would be on the field by 1 p.m. He would kick the ball around with the older kids, playing every possible position. The biggest difference between Casemiro, who has been sensible since childhood, and his peers is that in addition to his love of football, he has one more belief: playing professional football to make money to support his family.

At the age of eleven, Casemiro burst onto Sao Paulo's scene with a hat-trick of his own, leading the Class of 92 to a 3-0 victory over the Class of 91. Casemiro, who played as a striker, once again showed his age mismatched maturity: of the 200 or so finalists, three out of four raised their hands when the coach asked who was a striker, while Casemiro was one of 30 or so kids who raised their hands when asked who was a midfielder -- a smaller number that made it easier to win the competition.

The first coach took him to Sao Paulo, where countless academy players were training hard to compete for only three qualifications to turn professional a year later. The first news on arrival was that Casemiro, who was suffering from hepatitis A at the time of the medical, would not be able to train with the squad. The good news is that his coach believes in him and believes he is destined to shine when he returns. Sure enough, after returning to training, Casemiro showed flashes of the talent that could one day make him a legend. When he was playing for the Under-15s, he managed to keep Neymar at bay against Santos, helping Sao Paulo win. In the final, he managed to keep Coutinho at bay.

Playing well, Casemiro signed his first professional contract with Sao Paulo before he was 16 years old.

"Mom, you don't have to work anymore."

The first money Casemiro received after signing the contract was to buy his mother a house. When he was very young, he always told his mother that one day he would buy her a house -- and he did.

When he was in the first team at Sao Paulo, there were a lot of teams who had been in touch with Casemiro during that period. Casemiro himself said he had grown up watching the Galacticos generation and that joining Real Madrid was a dream. At 21, he was invited to Real Madrid and although he is currently playing at Castile, he believes he can break into the first team.

He played alongside the likes of Vazquez, Nacho and Hesse at Castile before arriving with his biggest idol growing up, Zinedine Zidane. Casemiro said he mentioned Zidane will be poor words, he does not know how to describe his feelings for Zidane, without Zidane, will not have their own later. Six months later he was breaking into the first team and making his first team debut under Jose Mourinho. "I felt like Cristiano Ronaldo, the best feeling in the world," he said, recalling his debut in Mourinho's room.
