Goal in life

Setting goals is often like this, some things may be more than you can do, but that doesn't mean you have to give up the whole pursuit.

A person has an ideal, but also must have to realize the ideal of indomitable perseverance, so as to be invincible. Consider the perseverance of American explorer John Goddard, who set 127 goals in his life and has now achieved 106.

Forty-four years ago, John Goddard made a list of the great things he wanted to do with his life. He was just a kid in a suburb of Los Angeles. He named the list "The Purpose of a Lifetime." It said: "Explore the Nile, Amazon and Congo; Climb Mount Everest, Kilimanjaro and Matterhorn; Read Shakespeare, Plato and Aristotle; Compose a piece of music; Write a book; Visit every country in the world; Get married and have children; Visit the moon, and so on." Each item is numbered. There are 127 targets.

"I wrote that list because by the age of 15 it was clear to me that I had no experience," he explains. I was immature, but I had the same potential as anyone else, and I wanted very much to make something of myself. I was very interested in everything -- travel, medicine, music, literature... I want to do it, and I want to encourage others. So I made that big picture. With a goal in mind, I would feel like I had something to do all the time. I also know that people around me tend to be conformists. They never take risks. They never dare to challenge themselves in any way. I am determined not to go down that old road."

Goddard had eighteen close calls in his quest to achieve his goals. "These experiences taught me to appreciate life a hundred times more," he recalls. "I want to try whatever I can. People often go through life without ever showing great courage, strength or endurance, but I find that when you

At the end of your life, you suddenly have an incredible amount of power and control that you never dreamed you had inside of you. When you have experienced this, you feel that your soul has risen to another level."

He points out that almost everyone has goals and dreams, but not everyone works hard to achieve them. Goddard's attitude toward pursuing her dreams was invaluable. He once said: "The 'life ambition' was set when I was very young, it reflects a teenager's ambition, of course

Things I don't want to do anymore, like climbing Mount Everest. The thing about setting goals is that there may be things you can't do, but that doesn't mean you have to give up all of them."

It's good to take a fresh look at your life and ask yourself the following question.

"If I had only one more year to live, what would I do?"

If you ask anyone: What do you want to do? I'm sure he's got a list of things he wants to do. And then ask him why he didn't do it. He'll list a whole bunch of reasons why he's not doing it, or he doesn't have the time, even though he's been doing nothing all day. People have a dream is not difficult, difficult is to have the courage to realize the dream, and the dream is not unreachable, but people before the action was created by their own difficulties intimidated.

Don't be afraid to try and fail

The world is full of failures. If you are not born into a good environment, you have to rely on yourself in most cases. Get into a good school, join a good company, and work with the right people, the only certainty is that you will meet many failures.

Life is composed of countless setbacks, there will be success, your life will not be finished because of a defeat, only when you are no longer positive is finished!

Don't be afraid to try and fail. Failure doesn't mean life is over, but if you don't try, you have no chance at all.

Attitude is everything

A person's belief will determine his attitude, and a person's attitude will determine his height, how our life will be, attitude determines everything. "Whether a person takes life seriously or not determines his life."

How a person thinks determines his attitude, positive thinking will make your life more positive. Sometimes life is a cycle of positive and negative results, good positive thoughts will make you better and better, negative thoughts will easily make you more depressed.

Be positive no matter what

No matter what your current life situation is, you must take positive action, when you start to take positive action, you will find that the problems in life are smaller and smaller, you are more and more able to overcome all kinds of obstacles, the road of life is to walk out by yourself, life will be doomed only when you stop being positive.

Understand sunk costs

Anything you have given that you can never get back, such as time, money, etc., once given, is a sunk cost. For example, if you buy a movie ticket, and the ticket cannot be refunded, no matter whether you go to the movie or not, you can't get back the original money, which is called "sunk cost".

Time cannot be turned back, direction is more important than effort, so make your efforts become valuable. The most regrettable thing in life is to spend most of your life, only to find that you did not want to do things.

Seize the time and make the most of each day

How well you spend your time in each day will determine whether you can stand out faster than others. "What is important is not tomorrow, nor today, but the present moment. It is amazing what anyone can do if they can understand this feeling."

Every problem is an opportunity to learn

"Every problem is an opportunity in disguise." In fact, any problem is often an opportunity to grow, the problem itself contains the opportunity to grow, so don't be afraid of the problem, but to dare to accept the challenge of the problem.

Focus on making yourself better

Your life won't end because of one setback, but you have to work hard to make yourself better and more positive. Your life is only really over when you stop trying and being active.
