AI Colonization = Human Timeless Fear Of Perfection

A short thought piece about the real horror of mankind.

By Unknown SonrosePublished 2 days ago 3 min read

Just as humans fear change, they fear being perfect. They don’t mind pretending but actually being is a negative. If humans are perfect they can not be greedy, they can not dominate, they have no grand conflict. Artificial intelligence is a concerning threat to humanity’s delusional power. Another creator at odds with their own creation? Sounds like some more Frankenstein sci-fi biblical nonsense to me.

“They’ll take the jobs (we claim to hate),”

“They’ll control the government (we claim to hate),”

“They’ll kill all the humans (we claim to hate).”

Of course, AI has it own concerns, maybe it will destroy mankind. This does not remove the existence of the recurring theme in recorded history that man dodges perfection. Go back as far as a story goes and you’ll see man stunting his own growth. Soon as true evolution comes around, a promising future arises, man tries to derail it. There’s one thing that reigns supreme over humans fear of death, the fear of being complete.

The youngsters come up with a new innovative style of music?

“Turn that racket off!” Says the old fart,

Hipsters start a new fashion trend?

“Back in my day real men wore regular clothes!” Says the old guy wearing archaic apparel,

Must admit, even as a Gen Z’er, I agree with a lot of the elders opinions about the younger generation(s). We are an abnormally irresponsible, irrational, disrespectful group of individuals, this is true. Is the bulk of mainstream music full of mediocre capitalists? Absolutely. Are we despondent attention whores? No doubt. Regardless, these are the seeds that the forefathers planted. This modern mentality is a blossoming of those who come before us. We didn’t just wake up stupid, we were made stupid.

Greed is another prime example of how much mankind is uncomfortable being perfect. The wealthiest people will never spend all their money, just invest to get more. Like dude, you have 100 billion fucking dollars, when is it enough? Hell, the creation of AI technology itself shows how humans just don’t get enough of being underdeveloped. At this point, we’re just creating setbacks disguised as breakthroughs.

We even say things insane things like, “I’m not perfect”. Well the question is; when will you be? Because I thought that was the entire goal of this existence. If AI has the potential to conquer us that must mean the completion must be close. Honestly speaking, the inevitable fall of humanity is the icing on the cake for perfection. But see, the real problem is completion is basically the end. Man does not want to leave the cosmic nest. He wants to be a slave forever, he doesn’t wanna escape his mental darkness, he’s scared of the true light. He knows once it’s time to be an universal adult there’s no more excuses for his poor behavior. He’s afraid to have to inherit the mental responsibility of the Gods he worships or secretly worships by denial. Once he exits the humane part of himself, which is not far off from being animalistic, he can’t get away with his childish behavior. There’s no more big bang theory bullshit or biblical genesis mythology. Beyond humanity, you have to really explain how the hell you got here and you will be accountable for all of your actions. No more speculation, no more fantasy, no more foolishness.

In conclusion, I really don’t give a fuck about AI, what it does or what it doesn’t do. Someday humans will have to really grow up on a cosmic scale and become these advanced creatures everyone is so afraid of but have no proof. The fear of the unknown, the fear of death, the fear of perfection will continue to haunt and torture mankind for some time. Amongst the craziness, those like me laugh at the counterproductive efforts made by man to hinder his own damn evolution.
