After watching "Dream Travel"

In fact, what we fear most is not being alone, but being forgotten.

"CoCo" is another masterpiece jointly created by Disney and Pixar Animation. It was not long after I brought Tianhao back from Shanghai Disneyland to play, and the children were keen on Disney's various animated characters, and it was just when the movie was just released, so I took him to see it without saying a word.

There has never been a movie like this that made my son and I cry the whole second half together. I still remember my tears flowing because I was wearing 3D glasses, and I felt that it was too late to wipe the tears behind the glasses, and the new tears flowed uncontrollably. I had to comfort my son who was crying so hard. He kept asking me: Mom, why are they all bones, moving bones, their bones look terrible, but why are they so happy when they talk? 5-year-old children still don't understand that this is a beautiful delivery of family love, but they seem to understand the meaning of "death" to them. This is definitely a movie that is enough to make people cry, adhering to Pixar's portrayal techniques over the years, and making breakthroughs on the basis. If I were to choose the most suitable parent-child film in 2017, the warmest and most touching film, I would tell you without hesitation, it is him. The countless foreshadowings at the beginning of the film all hit the red heart at the end. It is especially recommended that the whole family go to the cinema to see it together, which will definitely benefit a lot.

Explanation of "seeking dreams":

I think many people may be like me after walking out of the movie theater. It turns out that "seeking dreams" has a double meaning. Because I started to see the little boy holding the guitar in the poster, I intuitively thought that this was an inspirational drama to keep making progress for the dream. But in fact, the little boy Miguel in the film was born in a village in Mexico. Since he was a child, he has always had a dream of music that he loves, but his dream was opposed by the "shoemaker's family". This contradiction is in place, and we can't help but think of how he broke through the opposition of his family in order to pursue his dream, and how to walk on the road to realize his dream step by step... Just when he followed the guidance of his idol "Dela Cruz" , When he was about to embark on the road of chasing his dreams, he accidentally walked into "another country" - the world of the dead. This big reversal will definitely surprise you. In the world of the dead, Miguel met his deceased family members, as well as the down-and-out singer Hector. He searched for his dreams all the way, but found that he finally gained the warmest thing in the world-family. I believe that as soon as the "Remember Me" music starts, your tears will always roll in your eyes, and after you walk out of the cinema, it will linger in your ears for a long time.

"Death" and love become eternal topics

I never shy away from "death", I know that "people will die" is the law of nature. When I was reading with my children, I would often choose some picture books related to "death" and tell them to Tianhao. However, the film takes Mexico's Day of the Dead as a clue, and the various descriptions of the topic of "death" many times still gave me a great shock. I never thought about those people in another world, what are they like? Will they still care and miss us? Perhaps because of the influence of traditional Chinese culture, we always think that "people cannot be resurrected after death", and when we arrive at the "Yin Cao Difu", cross the "Naihe Bridge", and drink the "Meng Po Soup", everything in this world will be with us again. Nothing to do. But this film strayed into the "undead world" through Miguel's stealing the guitar that the singer used to use, and brought us to a world we never imagined. This is definitely not the "underworld", but it has everything that is more glamorous and beautiful than the outside world. It's like the wizarding world of Harry Potter~ Will you exclaim when you see it, wow, it turns out that there really is this world, we never thought that the world is like this! In that world, there really is the Naihe Bridge, but it is so bright and warm. This bridge is the "passage" to bring the dead back to the world and "family reunion". In this world, there is also a saying of "ultimate death". If relatives in the world no longer remember and miss the deceased, the undead will eventually go to "ultimate death". These points are the emotions that "Pixar" wants to convey to us. The scary thing is no longer death, the scary thing is that we no longer miss each other.

A good movie for the family to watch together

I said earlier that this is a good movie that I recommend the whole family to watch together, and it is especially suitable for parents and children. There are many reasons in the middle, and the main three are summarized:

First, let the children feel the warmth of the big family.

In the film, Miguel grew up in a big family, but at first you couldn't see his love for the family, but more because the family's rejection of "music" brought him more troubles and hardships. On the Day of the Dead, the tablets enshrined at home did not bring him more emotion. And when he came to the world of the dead, and met his great-great-grandmother, aunt, etc. in the enshrined tablets, those emotions seemed to burst into some sparks in an instant, but they were short-lived. However, as the film's plot progresses, Miguel discovers that the people closest to him are not leaving them, and through his efforts, he hopes that his family can forgive his great-great-grandfather and reunite the family. I think Miguel at that time finally realized the importance of family affection along the way. The reunion of people from the last two worlds in the film is overflowing with warmth.

I am a child myself, Tianhao is five years old. Even if the country liberalizes the two-child policy, there is no plan to regenerate for the time being. I think our generation is basically an only child. Looking back at the warmth of a big family, I got my parents, that is, Tianhao’s grandparents, grandparents and grandparents. Therefore, it is really necessary to let the children feel the warmth of the big family. Through watching the movie, you can convey this kind of warmth.

Second, re-examine the definition of "dream becomes reality"

The film actually redefines "dream". I don't know if you have noticed after watching it. This can guide children subtly. In the film, Miguel likes "music" very much, and he was so excited when he found out that the song god Dela Cruz he had always admired was his great-great-grandfather! He knew that the song god would definitely give him strength and encouragement. However, the fact is that the success of the song god was not earned by his own efforts. I think, in reality, there are people like the God of Songs who sacrifice everything to become famous. So, can we give our children a value orientation of "what is the real meaning of success?" Fortunately, Miguel's real great-great-grandfather is not a singer, haha, so the little boy's dream-seeking path is actually the calling and guidance of his relatives' souls. Here, I won't spoil too much, you can go watch this movie.

Third, feel affection and love - please remember me

There is another reason why I like this drama the most. His foreshadowing is very good. His song "Please Remember Me" is simply amazing. In fact, this film has a lot of foreshadowing, and the handling is very good. But the biggest foreshadowing, haha, is actually in the title of the play - "Dream Hunting Travel Notes CoCo". Whether it’s a little boy’s dream or a way to find family affection, these are secondary, and the most important one is of course CoCo. It was not until the dead soul who always wanted to see his daughter said “CoCo” at the end of the film that I suddenly realized. turn out to be. Miguel's "great-grandmother", who has been sitting in a chair and is getting old, is the biggest foreshadowing. If my dad was still around, I'd remember him, the way he played the guitar, the way he sang "Remember Me."

Those "cute" bones

Finally, let's talk about those "cute" bones. Because the film is based on Mexico's Day of the Dead, and the film shows more of the wonderful world of the dead. Therefore, the people in that world have become more brushes and characters in this film. Unlike many Disney films, these characters are moving bones, in the words of my son: "Mom, these bones move and talk." For young children, they may look a little scared, and I don't think it's possible to rule out this possibility. However, the bones are still cute. They not only can speak, but they also have rich emotions, absolutely no less than us in the human world. Even if they don't seem to have a body, they are a kind of existence of the soul. Existence has its reason, yes, and these "cute" bones are the biggest presentation of family affection in this drama.
