I will never be the person to shame a single soul for being prescribed anxiety medication. Anxiety medications are prescribed for a reason. Nobody should ever be made to feel that they are different or less than because of them. Taking care of your mind and your body is such an important aspect of living a life that is fruitful and full of meaning.

Today's article is not a cure all of anxiety. In fact I don't think that there ever is or has been a cure all. There are ways to take some of that pressure away with or without medication. Life is very hard as it is. Many things cause us to have these worrisome feelings that tend to build up in ways we find it hard to tame. It doesn't make you a mess. It in fact makes you human. Just like the rest of the world. There is not a single person on this Earth that can tell you truthfully that they have never in life experienced some form of anxiety. We all go through things. The level of severity often times can range from simple to complex situations. However, the severity of anxiety you feel can expand either way. It's nothing to be ashamed of. We as people think and feel differently. We aren't all made the same. If we were what kind of boring life would that be.

Lets dive into some of the ways we can take away some of the anxiety that lingers within our lives. We as people deserve never-ending peace, especially with all the chaos that has plagued this world in recent years.

Yoga

Any exercise will honestly have you feeling in such a better head space. Yoga though, will have you feeling such a deep sense of peace. It may take time to get into it but once you have found your footing, the practice becomes something that will start or end your day on a more positive note. Giving your body the attention it needs will provide you with time to ground yourself. The better you get at the craft will give you something to be proud of and something to look forward to. Meditation is also a really great way to connect with yourself. Finding a deeper meaning and a deeper peace. Sometimes when things get super tough or I'm going through a situation, I tend to meditate on it. A quiet place with you and your thoughts can be a wonderful way to add some peace to your day. A personal favorite of mine is guided meditation. It helps me to remain focused on the topic at hand. I normally pick between meditations for stress relief and self care. They happen to be two of the most helpful when it comes to my life's current situations. Sometimes I want to scream regardless, however, meditation still brings me daily relief whether it be in a small dose or a large.

In a perfect world we would have all the time in the world for self care. Our lives are so busy nowadays that we hardly have time for the things that can truly give us some time to ourselves. Work, family, and everything in between sometimes steer us away from the one thing that truly is so important. Self care. Self care is such an important way to take care of your mind, body, and spirit. Here are a few ways you can dedicate some of your precisous time to self care:

*read a good book

*light a candle

*take a bubble bath

*go on a nature walk

*listen to music

* journal

There are so many ways be can take the time to do right by us. Anxiety is a growing problem all over the world. We can take small steps to get our lives back in small and sometimes even large ways. All it takes is a little TLC.
