Better get to practicing in the ways to open a beer with an opener, because these peanut butter beer creations deserve a strange opening. I know most would be either mortified, or pretty much disgusted by the following beverage choices, but you can't deny that the peanut butter flavor is a nostalgic hit that's sure to not only warm your heart, but tingle your inner child-soul, as well. They also have some of the funniest names, I mean Sweet Baby Jesus and Belching Beaver? You can't not at these hilarious namesakes.

While they're not the best craft beers for spring, I'd still highlight them as important tastes among beer aficionados. There's also a wide variety of peanut butter beers, so you're not pinned down to only one taste or texture. There's a few milk stouts, a sweet brown ale, and even your childhood favorite peanut butter and jelly. There are enough beer styles for everyone, and if you're too inclined to see otherwise, I say try some before you knock it. You just might find your new all-time go-to beer blend.

As far as the peanut butter beer goes, Karl Strauss has got the porter for you. This amazing blend has a sweet, yet robust tinge to it that makes every sip an almost blast from the past.

It's not only rich tasting, it's also considered a dessert, thanks to a mix of smooth dark chocolate finish that's unlike any beer experience you've ever had before. The peanut butter cup concoction was chosen to debut at the San Diego Beer Week in 2012, wherein it took everyone's breath away (and, if anything else, their minds).

One of a kind doesn't even describe Foolproof's peanut butter beer. Aside from the fact that it's among the only peanut butter beers to come in the can, it's also made for rainy days. That's why they call it the Peanut Butter Raincloud.

Crafted from the likes of Foolproof's more popular Raincloud robust porter, this peanut butter delicatessen is a pallet's dream come true. It's not just a unique blend of nutty, buttery flavors; it's also a powerful porter that's got just the right amount of finish.

You've heard of TailGate before, you just don't know it yet. Maybe you've seen their famous Grapefruit IPA out there, or there's also a truly splendid concoction of Sweet Tart Sour (rare as can be), and their Watermelon Wheat.

Most notable, however, is their Peanut Butter Milk Stout. This one's got the right texture for a can, and it doesn't act too much like a peanut butter beer. It tastes more like a really dark malt, with hints of smooth, creamy flavors of milk and peanut butter rose.

Utilizing real peanuts, the infamously named Nuttercup Chocolate Peanut Butter Porter by Brew Link is a superb peanut butter beer, because they add their own level of fun and taste to the mix, which adds the right amount of kick needed in drowning both peanuts and beer into one unique beverage.

Not to talk it up any more, but the Porter above is so well-crafted and full bodied it's one of the best peanut butter beers on this list. I'd even consider it better then most spirits (it is a desert-tasting beverage, after all).

With a name like that, it's obvious these guys make peanut butter beer. Let me tell you, this stuff's delicious, too. If you're big on the chocolate beer craze (not everyone is), I suggest you try this awesome mix. It's relatively new, having been released as early as 2016. Ever since, it's been rotating as a specialty brew unmatched by the competition.

The ABV percentage rests at a high 8.50, which isn't a bad thing if you're trying to have a good time, but if it's just a chill night I'd suggest you hold on to this American porter for the right time.

There's no one better for the making of peanut butter beer than Belching Beaver. They've got the right tastes, added ingredients, and blends to make your head spin, plus send your taste buds into a spiral you never thought possible when tasting a brew.

That's what makes the Peanut Butter Stout from Belching Beaver an IPA craft beer fans's favorite. This is the brewing company that pretty much revolutionized how to even make peanut butter beer, especially when a creamy taste and heavenly aroma that can't be substituted by any other brewing company.

With a name like that, you'd expect this to be among beer styles that pack a punch. Trust me, it's much more than just a punch; it's a kick to the throat—in a good way, of course. This is a peanut butter beer that allows you to have PB&J and drink it, too.

Purple Monkey Dishwasher is just what it sounds like; a combination of crazy mixes and blends that are layered on top of one another for a foolproof taste that cannot be beaten by any other peanut butter beer. At the base is an American porter, of course, and layered on top is chocolate and peanut butter. Most people say it tastes like a candy bar, I think it's just one of the best peanut butter beers on the market.

Here's that brown ale I was talking about, and the big lettered "Indulgence" isn't a front, either. This badass peanut butter beer tastes just like how it sounds, plus they even have a sweeter raspberry addition that kicks up the flavoring notch nth-fold.

But, let's not get ahead of ourselves. Before you dive into Big Top Decklin's variety of peanut butter beer concoctions, taste their Chocolate Brown Ale first. It's one of the smoothest blends, and is best served chilled for the right combination of cool and sweet.

I absolutely adore Ballast Point. Sculpin? That's a must-try, but if you haven't even heard of their Peanut Butter Cup Victory at Sea mix, you're missing out on a true bread winner in the peanut butter beer department.

If you're looking for a nice beer and coffee mix that's not only sweet, rich and creamy but packs a powerful punch, then this one's right up your alley. It has Caffe Calabria blended with a robust porter that meets some vanilla with the all-necessary ingredient of peanut butter to give us a well-rounded, finishing taste.

The milk stout, a Belching Beaver favorite that tastes just as good as it sounds. You won't have to make any ice cream or whip up a sweet dessert if you have this peanut butter beet on deck. It's the right mix of sweet, wacky, and dark milk flavor.

Especially since it's come in at a nice 5.3 percent ABV rating, it's not hard to fall in love with Belching Beer and their Peanut Butter Milk Stout. Personally, I'm more inclined to like their non-milk peanut butter blend, but that's just me.
