Albert Einstein

Everything you need to know about Albert Einstein, the inventor of modern physics, on his birthday.

For his contributions to theoretical physics and the discovery of the law of the photoelectric effect, Albert Einstein received the 1921 Nobel Prize in Physics.

Hermann and Pauline Einstein gave birth to Albert Einstein in Ulm, Germany. His father wed Pauline Koch at the age of 29. She was eleven years younger than him. On March 14, 1879, a Friday, at 11:30 am, he was born. The boy was to be given the name Abraham by his parents in honor of his paternal grandpa. But they thought that the name felt "too Jewish" and ended up naming him Albert. When Albert was born, he had a large head. When his mother and grandma first saw him, they were shocked. However, the large head gradually shrank and became normal size. Surprisingly, the brain that would later motivate millions of people was not born with a cranium that was flawless. Around age three, Einstein began to speak. He told his biographer about the delay in the development of his verbal skills. Dr. Thomas Sowell came up with the phrase "Einstein Syndrome" today to characterize extraordinarily intelligent persons with delayed speech.

He is regarded as one of the greatest scientists of all time. A genius who taught himself algebra and Euclidean geometry in the course of one summer by the time he was 12 years old. Einstein received the 1921 Nobel Prize in Physics for his contributions to theoretical physics and is best known for creating the theory of relativity and the mass-energy equivalence formula E = mc2. the finding of the photoelectric effect law. At the age of 12, he independently established his unique proof of the Pythagorean theorem. By the time he was 14, he had mastered integral and differential calculus. Almost 300 scientific publications and more than 150 non-scientific works were published by him throughout his lifetime.

Hermann Einstein, his father, was an engineer and salesman. The family relocated to Munich around 1880. Due to his difficulties in language and other courses, Einstein dropped out of school. At the age of 16, Einstein published his first academic article on the magnetic field. His compass, which was a gift to him from his father, served as the basis for the paper.

Einstein's first article, Findings from the Capillarity Phenomena, was published in 1900. He earned a Doctorate in physics from him in 1905. He wrote four seminal publications on the photoelectric effect, Brownian motion, general relativity, and the equivalence of mass and energy in 1905. It became known as Einstein's "year of miracles" during that period. He received the coveted Copley Medal from the Royal Society of London in 1925 for his work on quantum theory and the theory of relativity.

In January 1903, the scientist wed Mileva Maric. Unfortunately, Einstein and Maric's marriage did not last, and they separated in 1919, primarily as a result of the physicist's interest in his cousin Elsa. After dating Elsa Lowenthal for five years, Einstein wed her in 1919. In 1936, Elsa passed away from kidney ailments.

According to reports, Einstein adored music and even declared that he would probably have been a musician if he had not become a physicist. Mahatma Gandhi also captivated him greatly, and the two corresponded via letter-writing throughout their respective lives.

When his abdominal aortic aneurysm broke on April 17, 1955, Einstein suffered internal bleeding and passed away at the age of 76 the next morning.

Facts

He loved the violin and sailing and hated socks and haircuts. He also loved bird watching.

Another interesting fact about Albert Einstein is that he had a poor memory. He could not remember names, dates, or phone numbers.

Einstein lived in certain conditions with his first wife, which she agreed to. Here are the terms of the marriage, which were laid down in 1914 when they were having difficulties in their relationship.
