By Ami RoachPublished 7 years ago 1 min read

You often see them as part of a balanced breakfast, mostly because of their high protein content. Eggs are a breakfast delight in its many forms—hard-boiled, fried, poached, and scrambled. Whether you get them at a diner or make them at home, it is likely you have had scrambled eggs a time or two. No matter how you usually get them, this recipe is going to change scrambled eggs forever. Now you can make the popular breakfast dish your way.

“I’m So Scrambled” Eggs are your excuse to consume marijuana in the morning. This recipe teaches you how to incorporate cannabis into one of your favorite breakfast proteins. Add cheese, hot sauce, sour cream, or whatever else you like on your eggs. Put them in a breakfast burrito, make an omelet, or eat them on buttered toast— the possibilities are endless!

Sometimes it can be hard to justify a morning-time joint, but when you can add cannabis to a healthy breakfast, there is no reason to say no: the effects should last ‘til lunch.

Ingredients:

  • 2 large eggs
  • Cannabutter, for sautéing
  • ¼ cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 2 pieces, bread of choice
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • ⅓ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Recipe:

Place a non-stick sauté pan on medium high heat. Crack eggs into a bowl and whip milk in with a fork until well blended. Melt butter on the pan. Add onions and sauté until slightly translucent. Add garlic, cook for 30 seconds. Remove onions and garlic from pan and add more cannabutter. Pour eggs into the pan, use spatula, and push eggs around. Add tomatoes, cheese, salt, and pepper. Cook until the preference is reached. Toast bread, spread with cannabutter, and serve warm.
