Your Lies

The quiet girl, who never spoke,

Always sees it all.

She sees the lies you're built on.

She could make it fall.

She doesn't cause a ripple.

She would never make a wave.

She'll let you keep your lies alive,

Taking your truth to her grave.

You're a character in a story,

So fabricated, it's fiction.

A real life fable.

A walking contradiction.

Built on lies,

And omissions.

Made up of myths,

And new editions.

But she has peace,

in her house of true.

Where she sees the real,

Exposed version you.

The ugly truths,

Where the curtains fall.

She sees your lies,

She sees it all.

Holding them for you,

Day after day.

You keep your lies alive,

She'll take your truth to her grave.
