Your Kiss

It's all I want

Your rosy red lips,

So soft and delicate,

To kiss you is akin to dreaming,

So sweet and intoxicating.

*

Your embrace causes me to melt.

Faster and faster beats my heart.

For I am lost in your kiss,

In a world of pure bliss.

*

I want this moment to be never-ending

In your arms forever; I want to stay.

On your bosom,

With our lips touching

*

Yet, all too soon,

The kiss comes to an end

And I am left needing more.

More of your sweet kisses

More of your love

*

So I take a chance.

And steal one more.

Before our night is done

And I feel your warm limbs

Entwine with mine.

Come near, sit a spell, and listen to tales of old as I sit and rock by my fire. I'll serve you some cocoa and cookies as I tell you of the time long gone by when your Greats-greats once lived.
