You

Life

As you awake

To begin the day

What choice will

You make to begin

To get underway

The path awaits

You must choose

The path you will take

Whether easy or hard

Just know you will be ok

You make the decision

For the role you will play

Life is a gift

This choice assigned to you

Life has consequences too

You can choose right or wrong

Whatever you choose you must be strong

You may not like your life’s view

If you stay the same that’s up to you too

Assess the conditions that keep you wishing

Know faith without work is a lonely mission

What are you doing in your life when there’s pain

Are you calculating the what and who to blame

Whatever you decide and whatever the name

You must choose to change or remain the same

Circumstances of life you may be born into

Choice is the power that can get you through

Wherever you are even if you’re in pain

Waking up tomorrow you get to choose again

Life is like a seed which you will see the proof

The choices you have made like a plant

That has roots
