Line in the sand

Collective

By Gregory AndersonPublished 8 months ago 1 min read

Power is absolute

Power can corrupt

Will justice have

The power to stand

Will it be a line in the sand

The sound of the left

The sound of the right

Will justice stand up and fight

Atrocities of war on media all night

Broken by simply giving a command

Truth must cross that line in the sand

What compass shall help us lead the way

Morality must rise to keep the darkness at bay

Through history the story unfolds to be told

Extending a hand is it to take or for us to hold

There is much we must unravel to understand

Power that corrupts is also the power to command

The powers that be are busy drawing lines in the sand
