You’re the Only One I’d Let Browse My Search History

A Poetic Confession of Trust and Terrible Queries

By Tale WeaverPublished about a year ago • 1 min read

I’d let you peek, my love, it’s true,

At every search I’ve clicked into—

From “how to cook toast” (yes, I’ve tried)

To “is it normal if my cat just sighed?”

_ _ _

You’d see my late-night, half-asleep pleas,

Like “why do my knees sound like broken CDs?”

Or “how to impress a love so divine”

(And yes, I searched “best Valentine lines”).

_ _ _

No shame in my tabs, no fear in my heart,

Though you’ll find my Amazon cart—

A graveyard of hobbies I’ll never pursue,

And 10 ways to turn eggshells into glue.

_ _ _

You'll scroll past memes, a Shakespearean quote,

A deep dive on why goats sometimes float,

Conspiracy threads, a horoscope fate,

And “how soon is too soon to finish a plate?”

_ _ _

But here’s the proof, as wild as it seems,

That love is trust in our weirdest dreams.

For if you don’t run after all that you see,

Then darling, you’re truly the one for me.

_ _ _

So take my hand, my search bar’s yours,

Through every tab, through all detours.

In love, in trust, in queries bizarre—

You’re the only one I’d let scroll this far.
