Tension in the air is thick enough to cut

With my scissors, that I broke from frustration.

Arguments are never fixed with neglect,

And avoidance makes you look like an apathetic coward.

We all know that this must be talked through,

Even if we despise what this has gotten to,

You may think that this disrespect only affects you

And the person you’re ignoring, but this effects us, too.

We are only bystanders through this mayhem,

And you have to stop being as stubborn as you’ve been.

We have to talk it out, speak up, let it go,

The longer you wait, the worse this will go.

We have no control, all we can do is persuade,

We can only partly allude this to you,

But you continue to elude us.

You have to start it, you need to speak,

You may think you look cool, but you just seem weak.

You may be anxious and afraid for what may follow,

But when you neglect your friends, you just seem shallow.
