You probably won’t read this.

I can’t blame you there.

We all are so busy.

It’s hard to take time to care.

We can’t spare a moment.

We can’t spare a dime,

and before we know it,

we’re running out of time.

Life seems so quick.

Sometimes, it’s hard to remember to enjoy

the small things around us

without getting annoyed.

We’re all speeding through traffic

and rushing through the day.

There’s so much to work on

and not enough time for play.

Before we know it,

we are all wrinkled and old,

remembering the ‘good ol’ days’

and wishing we were told

that there was enough time

to stop and look around

instead of resenting the fact

that we allowed ourselves to be bound

and wishing that we had time to go back

because if we did, maybe we would cherish

all the memories that could have been

that slipped through the cracks.
