She resists

She fights

A mom

casts her goals

into the ocean;

we, the words

sent bobbing

in the direction

of the sun,

the eggs of stone,

the shards

of prophesy.

Because she needs

to finish her melody

And fall again to

the sweet,

dark hush of One,

A mother casts

her goals into the sea,

Hoping to pass

that wild infinity

And on a few little

one shore again to run,

The eggs

of stone,

the shards

of prophesy

Outside the fiery circle

of reminiscence,

The howling surf,

the incessant

years undone ...

A mom casts

her goals

into the sea

And then dissolves

right into a scenery,

Her rolling,

helpless flow once

more all started,

The eggs of stone,

the shards of prophesy

Afloat yet again

upon eternity,

Once extra

the alien fury,

by no means executed ...

once more,

her dreams

into the ocean,

The eggs of stone,

the shards of prophesy!

This is so beautifully crafted capturing the endless cycle of a mother's aspirations & dreams. This poignant and reflective work of art.
