You Me
A Crown Cinquain Inspired By A Chat With My Muse
I was recently made aware of a poetic form called the Crown Cinquain by Talia Devora and her poem Dvarim Ktanim (Little Things)
This page gives a detailed insight into it.
This site lists a lot of variations which means I have a lot of poetic forms to practice on in the coming weeks.
I am going to choose my Muse as the subject and inspiration for this poem , my first Crown Cinquain. There is no need for rhyme , like a haiku or writing in a pentameter. It's about the syllables.
Music wise we'll go with The 1975 - "Me & You Together"

You , Me
Together we sit, holding hands
We chat about music
And the weather
It’s Fine
֍֍
It’s Fine
We rise and walk out the front door
Enjoying the bright sun
Keeping us warm
No , Hot
֍֍
No Hot
Is how we feel , the lake invites
Should we wade the water
And Cool our feet
Ah Cool
֍֍
Ah Cool
We want an Ice Cream, but have none
We have some in the fridge
Back in the flat
To Lick
֍֍
To Lick
The Ice cream , cooling our hot tongues
Slipping down our dry throats
Soothingly Nice
You Me
