I didn't remember you,

I didn't remember what you did,

But now you're like a plague,

Filling my mind again,

Why can't you just go away?

Those memories,

They make me freeze,

I don't want to remember,

I want to forget and hide away,

Why do I remember?

You,

It's because of you that I'm so afraid,

You made me vulnerable that day,

You took my entire childhood away,

In just one day,

And now I live on,

For days on end,

With the memories,

That you gave me.

Thank you for reading my poem, You. This was something I wrote last year, but hadn't found a good place for it yet. Please feel free to leave a like, or even leave a tip! It helps me make better content and let's me know you enjoy my work!
