Yearning Hearts

Forever United

In shadows of sorrow, my heart does weep,

For the loved ones lost, forever to keep.

A sister, so vibrant, her spirit now free,

In a hospital's grip, she found no reprieve.

Five years have passed, since her soul took flight,

Leaving behind memories, bittersweet light.

Her pain unseen, yet it gripped her soul,

Now I long for her presence, to make me whole.

Then came the day, when my father departed,

His heart silenced, and aching hearts started.

Heart failure claimed him, in the hospital's care,

Leaving behind emptiness, too heavy to bear.

Two years have whispered their sorrowful tale,

But his love and guidance, forever prevail.

A father's warmth, no longer in my embrace,

Yet his spirit lingers, a guiding grace.

And then, like a cruel twist of fate's decree,

My mother's departure, one year after he.

On the day of his birth, she bid her goodbye,

Leaving me shattered, with tears to imply.

Oh, how I miss them, their love and their light,

In the depths of my heart, they remain day and night.

Their absence weighs heavy, like an endless tide,

But their memories linger, they forever abide.

In the depths of my grief, I find solace in dreams,

Where their laughter still echoes, like gentle sunbeams.

Together they dwell, beyond the veil's haze,

A family united, in eternal embrace.

Though tears may fall, and the pain lingers strong,

Their love lives on, an eternal song.

I hold them dear, in the depths of my heart,

And with each passing day, we're never truly apart.

So, let memories be a balm for my soul,

As I navigate this journey, to make me whole.

For in their absence, love's eternal embrace,

I find strength and solace, in their cherished grace.
