In a town adorned with hills of green,

Lived a boy whose mind was keen.

Ethan, the young lad of intellect,

With books and knowledge, he'd connect.

While others played and ran in glee,

Ethan craved wisdom's jubilee.

But as his brilliance began to bloom,

Resentment grew, casting a gloom.

"Why do they hate me?" Ethan sighed,

As isolation became his only guide.

Alone on a bench, lost in thought,

He pondered the battles that he fought.

Then came Lily, kind and wise,

With empathetic, gentle eyes.

She joined him on the wooden seat,

Their conversation to be a retreat.

"Ethan," Lily softly began to speak,

"People fear what they can't seek.

Your intelligence, a shining light,

Provokes envy, shadows in their sight."

Intimidation caused their hearts to strain,

Yet Ethan's gifts, they should acclaim.

"Shouldn't knowledge unite and bind,

Instead of tearing souls apart, unkind?"

Lily nodded, a gleam in her eye,

"In an ideal world, we'd all comply.

But some fear what they can't attain,

Instead of celebrating, they cause you pain."

Ethan embraced these words so true,

His burden lifted, a clearer view.

Intelligence, a gift, not a weight,

He vowed to let his brilliance elate.

With renewed purpose and profound grace,

Ethan ventured forth, quickening his pace.

Seeking knowledge, forging a trail,

His passion ignited, like a fiery gale.

A community emerged, with open hearts,

Supporting Ethan's scholarly arts.

Where once they scorned, now they sought,

His guidance, knowledge dearly bought.

Triumphantly, Ethan shared his mind,

No resentment held, no grudge to find.

For he understood the power he possessed,

To uplift, inspire, and manifest.

The tale of Ethan, a resilient lad,

Through challenges faced, he never grew sad.

Compassion and knowledge were his creed,

A beacon of light, fulfilling his need.

So let us remember his story, dear,

To shine our light without fear or jeer.

For intelligence is a gift we bestow,

To unite the world and help it grow.
