World Password Day
This is for the Vocal "Sensational" poetry challenge
This is for the Vocal "Sensational" poetry challenge
The prompt is:
Write a poem inspired by the five senses.
When I logged into Google I saw this
It seems every day is World something day, and we are supposed to keep passwords secret and then are told to store them in a book or some online system. The only safe place for a password is in your head, that is it. As soon as it is stored in any other format it becomes a security risk.
We need many of our senses to deal with passwords so I wrote this sonnet.
The accompanying music, appropriately is "The Secrets That You Keep" by Mud.

Today Is World Password Day
Seems Like Every Day's Taken
Keep It Secret, Keep It Safe
Keep Your Password Well Hidden
ποΈ
Never Let Anyone See
As You Touch The Keys To Type
Your Password, Tasting The Fear
As You Hear Someone Pass By
π
The Smell Of Burning Failure
When The Thief Sees Your Password
You Feel That You Have Been Screwed
Like In All Those Tales You Heard
π
Now See, Hear, And Memorize
Passwords Safe From Prying Eyes
