Words vs Silence

For those who can't speak,

I feel the pain you're going through.

I can tell I've got the voice,

but I actually never been heard too.

As I have been yelling all my life,

that how deadening thoughts surrounds me.

But no one ever seems to listen

or maybe I'm making scenarios around me.

Call me CRAZY or call me DUMB,

or maybe call me a DRAMA QUEEN.

I've been listening to y'all,

now it's your turn to know what I really mean.

I've sensed the power of silence,

I've known the beauty of words.

But you should always know about

how the combination of both what I preferred.

I've tried to inform y'all,

as if you guys actually cared.

Now you get the silence treatment,

don't come tell me how I dared.

For those who can't speak,

I always thought how words are important,

but guess what- THEY ARE REALLY NOT!
