Here are some words,
That I have found.
They invoke wonder,
Even without a sound.
The first is Connection.
What a wonderful thing.
It ties the untied
With powerful string.
What is it about it that is so wonderfully true?
I suppose it is in the tune,
It is between me and you.
The second is Laughter.
We love to use it.
It hurts us sometimes
When it doesn't fit.
What is it about Laughter that is so funny and carefree?
I suppose it is in your eyes
That do more than see.
The third is Compassion.
This you practice best.
I see it in your actions
And in the eyes of others next.
What is it about your voice and your hands that make this all real?
I suppose it is in your soul
That you allow to feel.
