without reigning
I was wrong
the harvest will fall short this season,
the political reality of popularity grows ignored.
after-life watches eden; both fated and fading;
a living, forsaken underworld in famine;
leave it all with no more reign in sight.
in my hands, no thing is sacred, as it never was not able-
my grip tightens on what man can never hold-
i walk backwards, in line, with the rest of the world.
with the same destination, the same difference forward,
we can't be saved because none of us needs it.
clouds on the horizon, but the heavens won't cry.
the one and only last ride home with deliberate haste-
to know what needs done for living life for all it is not.
having not labored, for it i punished myself without-
through folly i look for me; find a familiar ghost.
true identity a secret, until what is next already was.
the fallacy of logic to undo would be my undone.
subscribed for those issues i am; over the edge of the limit,
beyond finishing a circle recurring to ends hidden.
undiscovered, undug, so i dig; and i dig deep, and i don't stop.
to sow seeds to never grow, trees that would not root.
raw ore unearthed; rocks and fossils of life long gone.
layer by layer, i wonder if... i wonder if.
i wonder why i love and why i was only ever wrong or right..
