Winter Sounds

A poem of the Winter season

By Mark GrahamPublished 4 years ago 1 min read

Brrrrrrr!

The sounds of a winter walk is full of wonder and wander.

One of the sounds of winter that makes me happy.

Slloooosh, slussssh, slloooosh, slusssh the sound of walking

through the melting snow.

Whoosh, whistle, whoosh, whistle the wind through the tree branches.

Walking outside when you hear the snowbirds singing their song and then hearing; tweeting, twittering, tweeting, twittering

Crrrrrrreeeeek, crraaccck, crooak of the ice on freezing and melting a little on a sunny day.

The sounds of a winter walk is one full of sounds full of mystery till you really listen and just enjoy.

Winter sounds that take you away.
