Harried and hurried
Troubles to solve
but how,
let me know before I
shatter.
Closing in
All of life
What should I do?
Career,
Marriage,
Friends,
Too many questions
not enough answers.
Always searching
many different
places.
Look in the mirror
what do I see;
A person,
A life,
looking for solutions
that have to be out
there somewhere.
When you find what
you are looking at or
for you'll know it's
right for you.
No more questions
to ponder in depth,
since you will
understand the reasons;
the choices made.
No more reasons
to feel like your
self will shatter.
You do not have to
be a part of all the
problems of the world
to be a part of the world,
if that was the case the
world would
SHATTER.
Be yourself!
Do what you enjoy and
be human.

Stuck in Place
Amy whistled as she walked through her front yard, looking for any sticks she could pick up and throw into the pile she and her brother were making. They had a big windstorm recently; as such, all the trees in their yard had suffered some damage in some loss of sticks. Or perhaps losing those sticks was a good thing since their trees probably needed to be pruned anyway. Amy wasn't sure.
