Why is France prepared for a potential war with Russia?

Across Europe, a dark cloud grows

As Putin's greed and hunger shows

Ukraine, the first to face his rage

But Macron sees the bigger stage

Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland too

All in the sights of Russia's crew

Moldova as well, could be next to go

If Ukraine falls to the invading foe

For years, the West enjoyed its peace

While Russia schemed, its power to increase

Now Macron wakes up to the coming storm

And knows that things must change, transform

French soldiers in Ukraine, a daring thought

To stop Putin's attack, a fight hard-fought

For if Ukraine's lost, what's left to defend?

Between Russia's strength and Europe's end?

The EU and NATO, caught off guard

Their unity and resolve, Russia tries to discard

But France now grasps the high stakes at play

And calls on friends to join the fray

Though some may shy from war's grim face

Macron knows it's not the time for grace

For Putin's hunger won't be satisfied

Until all of Europe's under his stride

So France gets ready for what's in store

To push back against the tyrant's roar

In Ukraine now, or at home tomorrow

Better to stand firm, than invite future sorrow

For the future of Europe is on the line

And France won't let it go, won't resign

The fate of a continent, in the balance

And France will fight, give no allowance
