Unveiling Secrets in the Twilight's Embrace
In the stillness of the night,
Whispers dance upon the breeze,
Secrets whispered in moonlight,
Unraveling mysteries.
Stars above with silent glow,
Painting tales across the sky,
In the darkness, secrets grow,
As the world begins to sigh.
Echoes of the past arise,
Shadows playing in the mist,
Lost within the whispered lies,
In the labyrinth, they twist.
Silent whispers fade away,
As the night begins to fade,
Mysteries hidden in the day,
In the light, they are betrayed.
The truth emerges, crystal clear,
In the light of breaking dawn,
Secrets lost, no longer near,
As the darkness is withdrawn.

Arrested by Necessity
Do you have a favorite place to visit when you're overwhelmed by your thoughts? Do you get overwhelmed by your thoughts? I suppose not everyone experiences the paralyzation that occurs when too many decisions creep in. I get knots in my (ample) stomach that twist and turn into cramps. Within minutes, my pulse increases and I force myself to remain calm, but anxiety starts poking at my chest like a toddler attempting to wake his papa for a snack. The cause of my tension is lost by this time, and my focus turns to slowing my breathing, "staying present in the moment," and remembering where I am and why.
