In the radiant embrace of summer's reign,
With golden rays and warmth that can't be tamed,
My heart whispers secrets only known to few,
Yearning for a season that feels long overdue.
Oh, how I long for autumn's gentle sway,
When nature paints a masterpiece in decay,
Leaves of amber, scarlet, and vibrant gold,
Dancing through the air, a sight to behold.
I dream of a world bathed in hues so rare,
Where crispness fills the winds with care,
A symphony of crackling leaves underfoot,
As nature sings melodies that bring resolute.
The scent of cinnamon and pumpkin spice,
Fills the air, offering comfort as a device,
A warm embrace from a cozy sweater's knit,
Reminding me of moments I'll never forget.
I yearn for bonfires that ignite the night,
Watching sparks dance in the fading light,
Wrapped in blankets, under the starry gaze,
Lost in thoughts on peaceful autumn days.
The harvest moon illuminates the sky,
Guiding the way as spirits wander by,
A mystical aura, a touch of enchantment,
In this season, my spirit finds fulfillment.
For autumn is the time when dreams take flight,
As nature transitions, embracing the night,
A bittersweet longing within my soul grows,
Craving the joys that only autumn knows.
So, in the midst of summer's lingering heat,
I wait patiently for autumn's sweet retreat,
Knowing that with each passing day anew,
My loving heart will finally find its due.
