Through the trees
Whisper whisper
In the breeze

Wind so free
What it is
You want from me
Tell me for I cannot see
What I crave and what I need

What this means
Whisper whisper
Am I free?
Endless paths I cannot choose
Endless ways for me to lose
I have the way
but not the will
And yet the Earth
Is turning still
And the sun
Is shining on
And yet I still
Await the dawn
Whisper whisper
Wind so free
What it is
That freedom means
