Where does it go?

A Poem

Where does it go

Is it swallowed into concrete?

Or covered in snow

Changed like butterflies

Yellow tape no glow

Where does it go

Who stole you away

Trauma from AK flurries

Trust you no more

Where’s your smile

Smile at who

Don’t get familiar

act like you know

Emmitt was enough

Seems like you need more

And more

Smiles to trap

Plunder and flip

Rip, tear, neglect

Wheres' your smile

Mine seen concrete

Singing the blues

Smile for Trayvon

Smile and you lose

Smile for Eric

Do as you're told

Hood-like sundown towns

Serengeti hunts

Loud music attracts the beast

trying to get home

such release

Door shuts

hell you been

too much stress inside

outdoors again

heartbreak
