Where are the heroes today?
The ones who come and chase bad away.
The ones who take you by the hand
The ones who give you a place to land.
Keep you on your feet and anchor you to the floor
So you aren't frightened anymore.
Where are all the heroes we want and need?
To heal broken hearts, not watch them bleed?
The ones who do more than just a good deed
The ones who come in and are bold
And give us a strong hand to hold
Where are the heroes of days gone by
Who helped those in need without asking why
The ones who loved with all their hearts
And never left someone falling apart.
