Do you remember those moments in the movies?

When it's time to say goodbye but it hurts too much?

I have that lump in my throat as I write this

She said, " It's over, it's for the best."

Is it really for the best though?

Can we make the time stand still?

Can't we change the clocks?

I remember when I was the one for you

Unbreakable it seemed

Life felt like heaven on a daily

Why does it have to end?

"Our lives are moving in different directions," she said.

I'm ready to change my life's path for her

But she is ready to walk away.
