When I Remember

Poem

I know I should just move on

Try and forget all the hurt I've felt

There's a million different things I've done to relieve my pain

The only thing that works is when I hear your name

This pain inside of me just won't go away

You hurt me before and now the pain, is here to stay

You did some things I never should have seen

I said some things I know I didn't mean

But all that disappears

When I remember

I remember the good and forget the bad

I remember the good times that we had

I see your face and everything's alright

I remember the nights we spent together

I remember the good

It's for the better

I know I'll be alright

When I remember
