My mom and me (Jessica)
You say, I never thought this could happen to me,
But these things happen,
And now you see.
The hope of being together forever;
And the thought of being parted never.
Then when is all said and done,
You realize no one‘s around to call you hon.
It’s all a distant memory now;
And all you can do,
Is look back and say how?
Remember is all you can do;
Let tears run if they have to.
The warm hug you missed so much;
The friendly hand you use to clutch.
Where is the one who‘s cared for me since day two?
Wherever you are, I love you.
I have others who love me;
Yes, I know;
But why did you have to go?
