When April Comes

When April Comes

At the point when April accompanies delicately sparkling eyes,
What's more, daffodils bound in her breeze blown hair,
Goodness, she will persuade all mists from out the skies,
Also, consistently will bring some sweet astonishment, - -
The swallows will come swinging through the air
At the point when April comes!

At the point when April accompanies delicate grin and tear,
Dear dandelions will plate the familiar ways,
Furthermore, at the break of morning we will hear
The channeling of the robins perfectly clear - -
While bobolinks will whistle as the days progressed,
At the point when April comes!

At the point when April comes, the world so shrewd and old,
Will half fail to remember that it is worn and dim;
Winter will appear to be yet as a story long told - -
Its harsh breezes with all its ice and cold
Will be the by-gone things of yesterday,
At the point when April comes!
