Reaping fruits of our hard work

Before you quit take a glance,
at the obscurities you left behind,
those hard summer nights,
the barefoot walks,
when the sun harshly scorched,
you endured all, on your own,
dug your oasis when you were parched,
embraced yourself after each fall,
don't give up now,
remember that vow!
just a little while more,
don't entertain the doubt,
rather show it the way out,
don't let worry haze your sight,
there will be an end of plight,
and I know, you and I, both,
will be touching the glory soon,
plucking the fruits of our labour,
and reap the seeds we sowed.
