Roaming in the Rain by Merry May Ma (February 2021)
Love burgeoned 20 months ago, and I witnessed it bloom into a floral tree.
Its trunk is made of arts and movies.
Its branches are made of books and philosophy.
Its blossoms are made of laughter and joy from thee.
Each day, I water it with glee.
I hear the wind caressing the leaves,
and the birds chirping in between.
Green leaves dance in the gentle breeze.
Clouds stick on the blue wallpaper, inadvertently moving.
One by one, come the bees.
They smile at thee, ravishing the feeling of tranquility
in each beautiful, lovely thing.
I embrace a serendipity,
as you are here with me.
