What's In A Frame
Photo by Nicolas Jossi on Unsplash

A frame is nothing,

but holds a memory,

it might be bare,

but I'm sure to see you there.

A memory frozen in time,

that is all that flows through my mind,

what I should have done,

what I could have said.

Are just thoughts of what could have been,

and what was never meant to be.

But time goes by,

and the seasons change,

and your memory is as clear as the dawn of day,

with your smile as bright as the sun that shines.

But my pain is as blue as the ocean deep,

for you are gone away,

but my love for you shall always stay.
