What Is Love?
"This is a poem for people who think and don't know what love is and think what it is."

“Someone I loved once gave me a box full of darkness. It took me years to understand that this too, was a gift.”Mary Oliver|| 1935-2019
People always ask what is love?
Is it sugar it is cream is it something you eat or drink?
is it cupid sleeping upon the willow trees as
they shake as they scream with pieces of hearts
falling from the apple trees love is like a
violin playing in the breeze a lovely tune longed to
be heard upon the sea but what is love
they always ask is it war is it death is it evil or is it mad?
Love is music from the sea a
peaceful tune never seen played
by the fish played by crabs played
by the oysters upon the sand
but still they don't understand
what is love they always ask with empty hearts and empty lives.
What is love they always mention of?
